Mom: “Do you remember those cockroaches in your and grandma’s hotel room last year?”
Me: “Mm?”
Mom: “I read today you shouldn’t kill them.”
Me: “Really?”
Mom: “Yeah. Apparently they are drawn to the smell of death. Just like you.”
