(We’re at the end of a long dinnertime discussion of ‘who would win?’)
Brother #1: “Yoda vs Sauron?”
Brother #2: “Yoda would throw the Ring into the fire and kablooey. What about Sauron vs Darth Vader?”
Me: “Vader might beat Sauron, but he wouldn’t win, since he wouldn’t be able to melt the Ring. He’d end up joining him.”
Brother #1: “Vader would say, ‘You do not know the power of the Dark Side’.”
Me: “And Sauron would say, ‘I am the Dark Side!’.”
