Les Be Friends
(My younger sister and I are very close best friends. We do a lot together, which means clothes shopping at our local mall. A store employee walks up to my sister while I’m just getting out of the changing room.)
Store Employee: “I just wanted to say that I think you and your partner are a really cute couple.”
My Sister: *deadpan* “Thank you, but even if I swung that way, she is my sister.”
Store Employee: “Oh! Uh…well…” *walks away*
Me: *to my sister* “Perhaps we’re a little too close?”
