    Color Me Blind

    | American Fork, UT, USA | Siblings, Teenagers

(My family grows a pretty big garden every year, and sometimes we grow some interesting things. This year, we grow some purple carrots which are very purple on the outside, but orange in the middle. I’ve just finished cutting up some of the carrots when my 15-year-old little sister comes in the kitchen.)

Me: “Here, try a carrot. They’re pretty good.”

    (She eats one and frowns.)

    Me: “What’s wrong?”

    Sister: “It tastes like carrots!”
